A convincing set of arguments against the “gypsy” site on Bulmore Road

  • piggery

Caerleon councillors continue to oppose the establishment of a “gypsy” site on Bulmore Road, for a range of reasons including access, environmental problems and the validity of the application under existing legislation for traveller camps. A planning appeal will be held in Newport on December 8th, and further information can be found on https://acp.planninginspectorate.gov.uk/ViewCase.aspx?caseid=3156937

As well as opposition from Newport City Council, Caerleon Civic Society and our own councillors  the Celtic Manor Resort has now added its voice. Its objections can be seen here. draftappealobjections
