All employees should be paid a living wage say Caerleon Labour Members

  • Despite the Coalition Government’s relief that more jobs are now being created, there is also evidence that low paid jobs are on the increase.

    And there is the additional blight on the employment landscape in the form of zero hours contracts.

    At its July meeting, Caerleon Labour Party agreed to send the following resolution to Newport West CLP and to Paul Flynn MP:

    “The Caerleon Labour Party strongly recommends that the requirement to pay at least a living wage to all employees be an explicit part of the Labour Party Manifesto for 2015.”
