Caerleon Broadway toilets now open to the public

  • Gail and Jason are delighted to confirm that, as we reported previously, following their on-going discussions within the Council and those between Newport City Council, the National Roman Legion Museum and CADW, the toilets in Broadway are now available to the public for the next 12 months.

The Pavilion is being used as a temporary measure while repairs are ongoing on the National Roman Legion Museum site where the building is having its roof repaired. Staff will be available to allow the public access to the pavilion toilet facilities.

This accessibility adds to the provision in Caerleon Town Hall during its opening hours and when special events are taking place.

Meanwhile, exploring options for any additional toilet facilities, which could be made available in other public and private buildings in Caerleon, continues.

We are very grateful to Newport City Council, the National Roman Legion Museum and CADW for their assistance which has enabled the Broadway toilets, as well as the Caerleon Town Hall toilets, to be made available to the public.
