Caerleon Labour Party summer events

  • Caerleon Labour Party’s summer events brought the sun out. Two fund raising events in close succession – a visit to National Trust properties at Dunster Castle and Cleveland Court in Somerset and tea at former Newport West CLP election agent Fern Coster’s wonderful cake shop in Cleveland, was followed a few days later  by a Strawberry Tea at Radford House, Caerleon. Both were both blessed with plenty of sun in an otherwise damp summer

At Radford House Brenda Waters received a presentation from Branch Chair Councillor Cliff Suller after 25 years as a governor at Caerleon Comprehensive.  David and Barbara Gilfillan generously hosted us at Radford House, where party members and guests were able to meet Paul Flynn MP, Rosemary Butler AM,  Councillor Bob Bright – Leader of Newport City Council, and Hamish Sandison – Labour’s candidate in the election for Police Commissioner in Gwent.
