Labour candidate for Police Commissioner visits Caerleon

  • Hamish Sandison, Labour’s candidate in the election for the Police and Crime Commissioner in Gwent has been campaigning in Caerleon with the help of local party members.

He’s opposing the 20% cuts in police budgets imposed by the Coalition government in London. As a hugely experienced commercial lawyer he will hold the police to account, set their budgets and make decisions about priorities.

He says he’ll keep bobbies on the beat, put victims at the heart of our criminal justice system and protect the police from political interference.

Voting takes place on November 15th.
