M4 relief road plans get a boost

An end to one of our biggest traffic headaches could be on the way.

After strong pressure on David Cameron, the Welsh Labour Government will soon be able to borrow money to build an M4 relief road.

Rosemary Butler AM is urging people to take part in the public consultation exercise which ends on Dec 16th. Visit www.M4newport.com or write to Allan Pitt, Arup, 4 Pierhead Street, Cardiff, CF10 4QP for forms and information.

There will also be a public exhibition in the Newport Centre on November 25th/26th, 12 noon-7pm.
