Newport and Caerleon A-Level Results

  • Newport and Caerleon pupils are doing well again in their A level results. Great effort by pupils, staff and governors in our local schools.

    Caerleon increased the percentage of pupils obtaining three A*/A by eight percent to 22.4% and increased the percentage of A*/A from 21% to 36.1%.

    Gail, Newport’s City Council’s cabinet member for education and skills, congratulated pupils and took the opportunity to acknowledge the support and commitment of governing bodies, head teachers, teachers, school-based staff, parents and guardians for the efforts that have gone in to these outcomes and wished all pupils every success for the future.
