Our New Leader

  Jeremy Corbyn has won a staggering victory. In Wales there were early signs that he would do well. He had more constituency support than the other candidates, and he struck a chord by praising the Welsh Government for rejecting:

  • the internal privatisation of the health service
  • the setting up of free schools
  • an extensive reliance on Private Finance Initiatives

  The leadership election made a considerable impact on our branch in Caerleon. We now have over a hundred members/ affiliated members/registered supporters.
