Paul Flynn adds his name to the Campus Listing campaign

  • Campus

Newport West MP Paul Flynn, who is also Labour’s Shadow Welsh Secretary in the House of Commons, has added his name to the campaign to protect the University of South Wales’ oldest campus buildings in Caerleon.

Caerleon’s three councillors Gail Giles, Cliff Suller and Paul Huntley were among those who wrote to the Welsh Government’s Economy and Infrastructure Secretary, Ken Skates AM, requesting him to intervene. Mr Skates, whose ultimate responsibilites include the Welsh heritage body CADW, agreed that they should list the buildings.
