Things are going up says Bob Bright

  Councillor Bob Bright, Leader of Newport City Council, had some very positive things to say when he performed the ground breaking ceremony in Friars Walk recently.

  

  He said that 2014 looked like being a momentous year for Newport. The demolition and site clearance for Friars Walk was just one of the signs that things are changing dramatically in the City Centre. Added to that was the opening of the Admiral building, the revamping of the Market and the news that Newport now ranks third in a recent study of the best office locations outside London.
