Welsh Government minister confirms intention to reopen M4 junction

  • The Welsh Government’s Economy and Infrastructure Secretary Ken Skates has confirmed in letters to Newport City Council Leader Debbie Wilcox and the Assembly Member for Newport West Jayne Bryant that if the Welsh Government’s plan to reroute the M4  to the south of Newport is accepted by the current planning inquiry, Junction 25 on the present M4 would be reopened to all traffic to and from Caerleon.
