Wreath-Making Workshop
November 27, 2022

On Sunday 27th November, we hosted our first wreath-making workshop. Caerleon branch member, Christabel Dawson, opened up her workroom for the event and Susan Smith tutored a wonderfully friendly and fun-filled group.

We used natural materials only, foraged from gardens. These included pine cones, fir, holly, eucalyptus, rosemary, lavender, hydrangea, corneaster and bay leaves, with wisteria branches forming the ring base.

Prosecco, hot drinks and macaroons were the perfect fuel for all the creativity and there was much laughing and chatting throughout.

Lunch was absolutely splendid as were the delicious cakes! Everybody went home thrilled with their wreaths, having had a wonderful day. We can’t wait to do it all over again next year. A huge thank you to all who supported us.

We wish everyone a wonderful December of warmth and festivities.
