Our Councillors supported the Caerleon RBL branch event at St Cadoc’s this weekend where local residents came to support and watch the magnificent Blaenavon Male Voice Choir perform a fantastic set of classic and modern songs.

The event raised over £1300 towards a new Caerleon standard.

It was a brilliant night that continued in the Goldcroft where the choir sang and entertained locals and tourists for a further hour.

Steve ( Councillor Cocks) produced an emotional historical account of all those killed in action in Caerleon during the interlude.

The event was so popular everyone is looking forward to the choir visiting again next year- and we can’t wait.

Both the choir and Caerleon RBL are encouraging new members to join and both can be contacted via social media or just turn up at one of their regular meetings.
