Steve believes that it is a privilege to serve the people of Caerleon. He has a wide range of experience which will allow him to do this effectively. He has been a headteacher at two South Wales comprehensive schools, has run a successful history tour company and has also been a councillor previously. He has a deep interest in Caerleon’s past and, with two grandchildren at school in Caerleon, he also has a deep commitment to its future.

Steve’s work in education has given him a strong commitment to providing quality public services. Running a successful company for ten years has also made him fully aware of the challenges facing local business. Steve has a longstanding love of history and historical heritage. He believes that Caerleon is a unique community. He will work with local people for a future for Caerleon as a sustainable and prosperous community which is a great place to live, to work and to visit.
